YOUTH PROGRAMS

LITTLE GRAPPLERS

(ages 3-5yrs)

We don’t teach jiu-jitsu, we play jiu-jitsu!

Using our proven teaching system we secretly teach the children essential self-defense techniques by playing fun and challenging games.  Through this process, children develop strong reflexes in the execution of the basic techniques as they unconsciously learn the foundational principles of leverage and control.

YOUTH BJJ - LEVEL 1

Students will learn that there is a time and a place for martial arts training. This program integrates; self-defense techniques, conditioning and skill oriented games aiming to improve your child’s motor skills, agility and flexibility.  Youth BJJ is a fun class for youth that teaches discipline and helps build confidence.

YOUTH BJJ - LEVEL 2

In Level 2, students will master the fundamental techniques and sequences, learning takedowns, submissions, submission escapes, combo attacks, combo escapes and BJJ technique drills.  This program also prepares students for tournaments and/or live competition.

YOUTH NO GI BJJ

Youth Wrestling class teaches the basic grappling movements of the first olypmic sport. This class includes takedowns and using the upper and lower body with exercises and drills designed to create the complete wrestler.

YOUTH SELF DEFENSE

(ages 6-16 yrs)

Empower your child when they need it most.

Since bullying is most prevalent in this age group, we teach our children techniques they must know in order to defend themselves if attacked. The best part about the techniques is that they are all non-violent control tactics designed to minimize injury to the bully if used during a real fight.

ADULT PROGRAMS

JIU-JITSU - LEVEL 1

This fundamentals class teaches the core techniques that every jiu-jitsu practitioner should know. Focusing on both the self defense and sport aspect of jiu-jitsu, this program is great for ensuring that each new student gets a high quality introduction into jiu-jitsu while allowing for more advanced students to perfect the basics.

JIU-JITSU - LEVEL 2

Our advanced class is designed to build upon the strong foundation gained from our fundamentals program.  Focusing on the "art" of jiu-jitsu in a more in-depth and conceptual level, the advanced class is perfect for any student wanting to develop jiu-jitsu into their own style.  This class has been known to enlighten our students to what it means to be a true martial "artist".

JIU-JITSU - LEVEL 3

This competition class is perfect for the competitive athlete that is looking to take their jiu-jitsu to the next level. This class focuses on sport jiu-jitsu and is geared toward getting our students ready physically as well as mentally for competition. This is also where competitors begin to find and develop their own personal jiu-jitsu style.  This class includes drilling, competitive sparring, sport strategies, and high level conditioning.  Although this class is designed for competitors, it is not exclusive.

NO GI JIU-JITSU

No Gi classes offer a faster and more dynamic style of fighting as this class does not require the use of a gi or belt.  Students will learn the foundations of BJJ working on basic techniques which includes takedowns, position controls, position escapes and submissions.

WOMEN'S SELF-DEFENSE

This course is designed for women only and all techniques and information is based on case studies on how women have been attacked.

We can also tailor and set up GROUP SEMINARS for any specific group requested.

OPEN MAT

Open Mat is a non-instructional class where students may practice the application of techniques through independent drilling and/or sparring with a partner.  Students are encouraged to apply the techniques they've learned in order to gain the understanding of the moves, develop timing of the techniques under live pressure, and expose their strengths and weaknesses for self-development.  This class is under the direct supervision of our instructors and is NOT designed to be a competitive proving ground between students.
